Jonny took 3rd (BRONZE!!) out of 9 wrestlers this weekend at Mesa High. It was a great tournament. He is also making some good friends (the wrestlers from the other clubs)
Sadie, Lenard and I cheered from the stands, and Lennie was down on the mat with him. Lenard even got to do some of the video taping this week....he LOVED that!

This week is a short school week....FRIDAY OFF, YAY!! I am thinking of taking the kids to see Monsters VS. Aliens (maybe I can bribe them to clean the back yard first??)

Hey he is coming along very well. I think that he is a natural. If you can keep him having fun he could be very good in Highschool. One thing to talk to him about is staying away from using the headlock. It is a good move but if it is used to often wrestlers become one dimensional. He should work on the double leg and single leg take downs. If he can develope them, he will be able to be any one he wrestles. Great job Jon.
